What is Aragon (ANT)?

Aragon is a decentralized application (dApp) on the Ethereum blockchain that allows anyone to create and manage a decentralized organization. The project is open source and managed by the Aragon Foundation. Traditional organizations have a substantial budget for overheads and administrative functions. Also, fees, delays, and brokers can accumulate when they transact with other entities. This increases friction on the overall economy. Aragon's vision is to eliminate this friction with decentralized organizations operating on a common platform. Aragon's goal is to make it simple and easy to set up and run an organization on the blockchain. ANT is a cryptocurrency in an ERC-20 network.

Who is the Founder of Aragon (ANT)?

Aragon was founded in November 2016 by Luis Cuende and Jorge Izquierdo. Aragon is currently community managed and the project aims to decentralize control. Before creating and managing Aragon, Luis has proven himself in the technological field. He received the "Best Under-18 European Programmer" award in 2011. He also received the MIT Innovators Under 35 Award. Luis has also achieved great success by being selected for the “Forbes 30 under 30”. Prior to these successes, Luis was named the best programmer in Europe under 18 by HackFwd and published his first book at the age of 18.
